- KUK7I1: Why? (is "Ubiquitous Nudism is likely healthy & somewhat-important")
- KUK7IW: For 3.7 billion years life-forms have existed on this planet. And for all that period, all of the life forms, including humans, have been totally nude (without any clothes), so ubiquitous nudism, indeed total nudism, was the case.
- KUK8X3: But the last ~.1% of human existence, and in fact in just the last ~.0001% of earth life-form existence, humans decided they knew better and decided it was better for them to behave totally differently; in fact humans now have the law & practice that there is almost no nudism, especially
not in public, where nudism generally is defined as exposing anything closely
related to the sexual (genitles plus (for women) breasts). This strongly sounds like humans are violating Don't casually mess w/ Mother Nature; accept&flow w/ her and indeed I argue they are. For it seems no such dramatic change is justified.
- KUK98L: Why did humans do it?
- KUK9A9: Well humans they probably started clothing for a good reason. The human body is easily damaged by the environment as it notably lacks fur (to keep warm) plus a tough outer layer; unlike humans, it seems most other life forms have one of these else have a body & environment where they aren't important. So humans figured out and started wearing more and more clothes to protect themselves.
- KUKBGW: Of important note, that with limited exception, the genitles & breasts do not generally need special protection, but in covering the whole body to protect against the elements, the easiest thing is to cover them as well, so this would get humans very used to having them covered.
- KUKBML: The exception for protecting these areas is just the jock strap and a bra, but that's only needed for physically demanding stuff or fighting, and history bears that out:
- KUKC30: the bra has only I understand become commonplace in the last 500 years probably due to manufacturing improvements, and for many small breasted women is totally unncessary and silly, but is still being warn by most women, and not nearly as much from the physical need as it is from the huge social expectation that all women wear a bra, plus show off your breasts; and
- KUKC3E: the jock strap is still only worn in contact sports or hand-to-hand fighting. It's uncomfortable and perhaps since men have dominated humans and still do today, they could choose not to wear it ordinarily and don't.
- KUK9SE: But then seeing themselves in clothing which the humans had uniquely invented, and all the other creatures without this, probably then led them see another big advantage in clothing: it made them feel special, above all the other creatures.
- KUKAK8: Of course the other creatures probably looked at the humans and thought "These guys are lame! They need this clothing crap and we get by just fine without it"
- KUKAKY: but that (very upsetting thought) probably never occured to humans, and this is why. You see, humans really want to believe they are special & more important than all the other creatures. Though the likely truth is this desire convince themselves this is just a genetic trait that most every creature has; but even if was, it would take humans a long time to realize this (many still don't) because, by this very trait, they would want to see they're different; indeed the possiblity that every creature thought itself the most special, regardless of what the humans did, would be just too upsetting to the humans (who also like quite a bit of attention).
- KUKAX4: So since it didn't take long to develop for humans to develop clothing to protect themselves from the elements, humans then mostly focused on clothing as a way to set themselves apart from the from the other creatures. Humans became very proud of the fact that they pioneed & wore clothing and the other creatures didn't (again, easily ignoring that theother creatures didn't NEED the clothing, per the trait). Indeed in human's early fictional stories (as Tarzan) trying to figure out what makes humans apart (err, "better") than other creatures, the fact that civilized humans wore clothing was a big part. Indeed to be civil was to wear clothes (and appropriate clothes).
- KUKB8F: But it didn't stop there. Humans quickly dominated all the other creatures, so now of bigger concern of clothing became using it to distinquish yourself from the other humans, or blend with them (in the case of a uniform); and it still is today: a clothing designer today must be primarily about fashion & marketing to be successful. The original reasons for having clothes (protection from the elements, due to humains inadequancy compared to other creatures) had long been forgotten.
- KUKBFI: However our laws and social expectations on clothing say nothing about having to protect yourself from the elements (as might make some sense), but generally only that you have to have your genitles covered plus, for women, breasts. Why is this?
- KUKCFE: One reason is that genitles have been covered so long as part of just ordinary clothing, it would seem normal (and so perhaps become law) to keep them that way.
-
- after mastering clothing to protect them from the elements, humans by that trait the , even it was, the trait itself would keep humans from want just like probably EVERY creature does but it's taking humans a long time to realize that, for if they did then of .
- except for humans just for less than just the last .001% of that period (and indeed less than. there are:
- KUK8NB: Except for the last less than .001%, withou This seems to violate It seems changed Mother Nature beyond what would seem to be justified, and . we've changed human nudism beyond its natural state Ubiquitous nudism was our natural state for all life forms and NNudism returns humans to our natural state which
- What humans have done today with nudism today violates Don't casually mess w/ Mother Nature; accept&flow w/ her: As but with no legitimate reason for doing this.
KUJWXV: Some Document History
–above article Ubiquitous Nudism is likely healthy & somewhat-important published at official URL: http://LoveRules.Info/2009/12/ku1ope.html- KU1OPE: I created the article manually by making Writely source. Then I renamed just the ID of this paragraph so official URL (created on it's first post) will contain just that in the name. I then did[Share->Publish as web page->Post to Blog] posting it to http://LoveRules.Info creating official URL http://LoveRules.Info/2009/12/ku1ope.html; then renamed to[Ubiquitous Nudism is likely healthy & somewhat-important KU1OPE] which fits.
- KUK6YW: I updated the article to fit the standards of KUJWXV(LoveRules.Info post template) including new name to[KU1OPE(Ubiquitous Nudism is likely healthy & somewhat-important)]
it's spelled as GENITALS :)
